What happens

Becca and her stepbrother are trapped upstairs together when the air conditioning fails during an oppressive summer. They're drawn to each other in ways they shouldn't be; every moment alone tests their self-control. Their mother is downstairs, close enough to hear, close enough to notice if something shifts between them. The heat makes everything harder. The proximity makes everything worse. Keeping this secret feels impossible.
