What happens

Henry Nolan, the North Lord, is betrayed by those close to him. His mind fractures and his legs give out. His wife Jean endures years of public humiliation for standing by him. When wealthy Alex Cook makes his move on Jean, he nearly destroys Henry completely. But the assault awakens something dormant in Henry. He chooses to fight back, to reclaim what was taken. The cost is everything he thought he knew about power, loyalty, and who can be trusted. Jean has kept him alive in the dark. Now he rises to keep her safe.
