What is DramaFinder?
DramaFinder is a search engine for short dramas. It indexes vertical mini series from multiple apps in one place, so a title can be looked up once and matched to the app that carries it, along with its episode count, synopsis and tropes.
What are short dramas?
Short dramas, also called mini dramas, micro dramas or vertical dramas, are serialised shows made up of episodes that usually run one to two minutes each. A complete series typically has between fifty and a hundred episodes and is filmed vertically for viewing on a phone. Common genres include billionaire romance, revenge, werewolf romance, secret identity and flash marriage.
How do I find which app a short drama is on?
Search for the title from any page on this site. Each series has a page listing the app that carries it, the number of episodes, a description and related titles. If the exact title is not known, the plot can be described instead and the search will match against what happens in the series.
Can I search by plot instead of by title?
Yes. Short dramas are often retitled between apps and clips circulate without any title attached, so search accepts a description of what happens as well as a name. Entering something like a wife who fakes amnesia while her husband hides that he is a billionaire will return matching series.
Why is a series only available on one app?
Most short drama apps produce their own content rather than licensing it from other companies. A series made by one app is therefore usually available on that app alone and does not appear on the others. This is the main reason a cross-platform index is useful.

Can I watch short dramas on DramaFinder?
No. DramaFinder is an index and does not host or stream video. Every viewing link leads to the official app that carries the series.
What does dubbed mean on a series page?
Many short dramas are produced in one language and released in others with dubbed audio. Where a dubbed version exists, it is noted on the series page as an attribute of that series rather than listed as a separate entry.
What is a trope?
A trope is a recurring story pattern, such as contract marriage, secret heir, second chance romance or revenge. Every app labels these differently, so the labels are reconciled into one shared set that works across apps. Any trope page lists every series matching that pattern regardless of which app it comes from.
How often is the catalogue updated?
New releases are checked for continuously and full catalogue reviews run on a regular schedule, so newly released series are added shortly after they appear.
