What happens

Viggo is a thrall in Karl's household, brutalised and overlooked, the unwanted shadow of a golden heir named Gunnar. Eight years have passed since he arrived with no memory of anywhere else. To buy his freedom he enters the Hunter Trials, a brutal competition where the best fighters prove themselves in tests of skill and survival. He does not know that the legendary hunter Karl, who watches the trials with desperate eyes, has been searching for his stolen son all this time.
