What happens

Elena gets a second chance at life after her sister and fiancé destroy her in the first one. They steal her golden egg and leave her to die under their lies. This time, she's not waiting for rescue. She goes to Nidhogg, an imprisoned Dragon Lord, and makes a desperate bargain. She'll bear his children. What arrives is nine of them, and when her enemies come for her again on the day she gives birth, she discovers the cost of that choice. Nidhogg emerges to claim what's his. The truth about her sister surfaces, her enemies fall, and Elena transforms into something far beyond what she was meant to be.
