What happens

Mark sweeps floors in a Federal Command facility, stripped of rank and title. Years ago he was the only pilot who could sync with Apollo, the ultimate mech. That changed when his teammate Steven died in an attack and Mark took the blame, exiled for a crime he didn't commit. Then Steven's personal weapon turns up in enemy hands, and Mark realizes the attack was no accident. Something larger is moving in the shadows. As rival bases collapse and the Abyss Lord emerges, Mark fights his way back to Apollo. The sync rates climb higher than they should. The truth about Steven's death surfaces, twisted and vast.
