What happens

Lucas gets out of prison after years inside. He hid his wealth to get in there, trading his whole life for a scheme to bring down his half brother. Now he's someone else entirely: broke, ordinary, invisible. He marries Ava, an orphan with nothing, through a contract neither of them expects to keep. Somewhere between the lies and the survival, real feeling grows between them. Then Ava learns she's the lost daughter of a major family, and suddenly she's worth something to every enemy that's been waiting in the shadows. Lucas stops pretending then. The man who went to prison to destroy one rival reveals himself to protect one person, and the revenge he's been holding gets redirected entirely.
