What happens

Elena's bodyguard after a shooting at her medical insurance company is the last person she expected to see again. Three years ago, Ace left her without explanation, claiming infidelity. What Elena didn't know was that he'd walked away to protect her from the reality of his war injuries. Now they're forced back into each other's orbit, and old wounds surface alongside questions about what really happened. As Ace shields her from danger, the lie that separated them becomes harder to maintain.
