What happens

Lysander learns too late that the devoted woman who served him was the one he should have cherished. Melia, a mermaid princess, made a dark bargain with a witch to complete one hundred cruel tasks for the ruthless prince. She needed his cooperation to save her beloved Triton from an eternal curse. Each task he assigned without thought or kindness brought her closer to a final demand that would cost everything. When she vanishes, Lysander finally understands the depth of what he lost.
