What happens

Ethan Cole wakes up after the world goes digital with a hidden power nobody recognizes. Everyone sees him as powerless; the system confirms it. Then the magic tide comes and he stops hiding. He builds a trading post outside the usual rules, a place where people can exchange anything for anything. This makes him dangerous to every faction fighting for control. What he discovers while staying hidden from them all is worse: the whole planet is a prison built by something older and larger than anyone imagined. Ethan has to decide whether to accept that or try to break it.
