What happens

Stella moves into her mother's new husband's seaside mansion and immediately clashes with Vincent, the family's cold, controlling 20-year-old heir. He runs the local elite surfing circuit with an iron grip and has never learned how to want anything he can't dominate. She's seventeen, uncontainable, and the first person to refuse him. When Stella chooses to stay and fight her way through the house's suffocating rules, she discovers Vincent's desperation for someone to see past his flawless surface. The closer they get, the more everything they've built begins to crack.
