What happens

Logan Carter collects debts for dangerous people. When he finds Lily Hayes abandoned on the street, she's half-starved and struggling to speak, but her luck is real; she finds a gold ring that saves him money. His family sees a commodity. Logan sees the girl his parents never protected. He walks away from everything to build something different with her. The setup is simple: she has nothing, he has nothing to lose. What they find together is another story.
