What happens

A man at the top of his career, James believes his daughters are away at a disciplinary program. His wife Sophie knows the truth: the girls are dead, victims of the place he sent them. She tells him nothing. Instead, she waits, watching him celebrate promotions and move through his life untouched by consequence. What unfolds is a careful, methodical reckoning. To understand how they arrived here, you have to go back five years: to a choice James made to please his first love, to Sophie's desperate attempts to stop him, to the camp, to the silence that followed. Now Sophie is orchestrating the exposure of what he did.
