What happens

Elise Sloane runs a garment factory in Creston City and has the genuine affection of Harold Cole, a man who loved her from a distance for a decade. But it wasn't always this way. Years back, she was abandoned by her husband and framed for theft. Harold offered her a contract marriage as shelter. She refused to let that become her life. Instead she took a job on a cosmetics counter and clawed her way up, riding the booming economic wave of the era, building something real from nothing.
