What happens

Wren files to replace her S-rank lion shifter after he abandons her mid-mission. She gets assigned a supposedly low-tier snake called Silas and his twin, River. She takes them both without hesitation. Her abandoned partner starts showing up at her door begging for another chance. Meanwhile Silas cooks her meals and River keeps her company through the nights. Then the Bonding Agency calls with a better match for Silas. He refuses them.
