What happens

Nerissa walked away from her family's fortune three years ago. When her boyfriend Brian lost his voice after an accident, she faked muteness to stay close to him. Now that he's recovered, he's ashamed of her and moved on. Nerissa is finished with silence. She reclaims her name, her wealth, and her place in the world. With Michael Yeager, a billionaire with his own agenda, she's ready to rebuild. What started as a marriage of convenience becomes something that terrifies people who thought she was powerless.
