What happens

Lydia's world pivots the moment a billionaire CEO named Scott appears with an unexpected marriage proposal. What seems like a sudden rescue is actually the payoff for something she did years ago, a moment of kindness she's long forgotten. But Scott hasn't forgotten. He's been waiting five years to repay her, and now he's back with a plan to remake her life. Lydia wanted to be a pastry chef, to sweeten the world around her. Instead she's been drowning in hardship. Scott offers her an escape route, though neither of them knows yet what accepting it will cost.
